It is a masking accessory to a kit, not a model. The pre-cut masks are stuck onto the plastic parts and protect them while paint is sprayed. The set is cut for the Hurricane Mk.IIc kit in 1:72 scale from the Zvezda brand — before you buy, check that this is the one you are building, because the division of the glazing differs between toolings.
The Hawker Hurricane was a British single-engine fighter aircraft of mixed construction with a tubular frame fuselage. The Mk.IIc version belongs to the later series and is characterized by cannon armament in the wing instead of machine guns. The machine served in many roles and with a number of Allied units, among them Czechoslovak pilots in Great Britain. In modeling terms the more angular canopy with its pronounced framing and the glazing behind the pilot's head are typical.
Degrease the glazing, lay the mask down dry with tweezers and press it with a soft wooden stick from the center outwards. Spray the frames over with the shade of the interior first and only then with the external shade. The typical British two-color camouflage with a sharp border is sprayed from the lighter shade to the darker one; a sharp transition on this type, though, matches the later schemes rather, while a soft edge can be created with masking putty or with tape raised slightly. Lift the mask off shortly after drying, at a sharp angle.
It is an accessory to a model, not the model itself. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
