A boarding ladder for the Rafale in 1:72 scale is a resin accessory from LP Models intended for a model, not an airplane kit in its own right.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin accessory in 1:72 scale representing the boarding ladder that is run up to the Rafale. It is neither an airplane model nor a part of one — it is ground equipment that is stood beside a finished model. With modern combat airplanes it is exactly this kind of equipment that creates the context in a display case: the machine on its own looks like a mock-up, the machine with a ladder run up to it looks like a machine in service.
Resin parts carry remains of mold release agent, so wash them in lukewarm water with dish soap before building and let them dry. Cut the casting blocks off with a thin saw or a cutting disc; never break them off — the rungs and side rails are very fine at this scale. Level the cut face with a file, ideally wet and with respiratory protection. It is bonded with cyanoacrylate glue; ordinary cement for plastic will not join resin. Before you start gluing, stand the parts dry and check that the whole thing stands level.
Start with a primer coat, which evens the surface out and reveals small flaws in the casting. After the base shade comes the wear: a thin wash in the seams, gentle lifting of the edges with a dry brush and a hint of dust at the foot. You do not have to overdo it — the service equipment of a modern airfield tends to be well kept, so a light hint of use is enough. When fitting it, make sure the ladder meets the edge of the cockpit at a natural height and stands square to the surface. The contents of the package, the number of parts and the target kit are not stated here; check before you buy that the accessory matches the model you are building.
This is an accessory, not an airplane model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted, without glue and paints, unless stated otherwise.
