An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer UM (UniModels). The set holds a railroad flatcar and the Soviet BT-5 fast tank. The combination matches the period transport of armored vehicles by rail.
The BT-5 fast tank belonged to the Soviet BT series of convertible wheel-and-track tanks of the 1930s, based on the Christie design. It was marked by high speed and was armed with a 45 mm gun. Railroad flatcars served to move tanks over long distances.
Use liquid cement for plastic and finish the running gear of the tank before closing up the hull. Cut the tiny parts of the flatcar and the axles away with care. For effect the tank can be secured to the flatcar with tie-down chains. Washes and dust pigments will serve for the patina.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
