A resin figure of a Russian (Soviet) pilot of the Second World War period in 1:72 scale from the brand Aerobonus. The man in period flight gear will complement a model of a Soviet fighter or ground-attack aircraft, and he also suits a diorama.
During the Second World War the Soviet Air Force deployed fighters of the Yak and La lines as well as Il-2 Shturmovik ground-attack aircraft. The pilots wore leather jackets, cloth flying helmets and flying goggles. The figure captures the typical appearance of a Soviet pilot of that time.
The figure is cast in resin, so before gluing wash the remains of the mold release agent off the parts and carefully cut off the casting blocks. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and sand with respiratory protection. It is advisable to apply a primer first for adhesion and to paint the figure with a brush, with the emphasis on the face and the folds of the clothing; a final wash will bring out the details.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin casting. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package.
