The Si-202 Hummel was a small single-engine low-wing monoplane developed in Germany in the second half of the 1930s as a training and sport machine. It was marked by a simple, rugged structure and undemanding operation. Besides civil use it also served during the war with some friendly air arms, among them the Royal Hungarian Air Force.
With small short-run kits it pays to clean the mating surfaces carefully and to try the parts dry. Finish the cockpit and the interior before closing the fuselage up. Coat the areas with gloss clear before applying the decals, and after the decals flatten the finish to whatever look you want.
