A set of painting masks, Soviet red-and-white outlined red stars – mid, in 1:72 scale, from the brand Armycast for applying the Soviet markings directly in paint.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of precisely cut self-adhesive masks for spraying the mid-war Soviet national stars with a red and white outline onto models of Soviet Air Force aircraft in 1:72 scale. You apply the stars directly in paint: you lay the mask on, spray the individual color layers with an airbrush, and once it is removed you get a sharp marking with no carrier film and no silvering on a matte finish.
The red star of the Soviet Air Force changed the form of its outline during the war. Mid-war renderings usually carried a combination of white and red outlines, which made the star stand out against the camouflage finishes of the day.
Layer the colors starting with the lightest: first the white and red outline, and once it has dried the red fill. Press the edges of the mask down carefully and spray thin coats, so that no ridges form. A painted star takes weathering well.
This is a separate set of masks. The models, paints and an airbrush are not included in the package.
