An injection-molded plastic kit of the modern Eurocopter Tiger (EC-665) attack helicopter in the Spanish Tigre form, in 1:72 scale from the Mistercraft brand. The model is built from plastic parts, glued and painted, and it contains a decal sheet for several operators. It is a kit of a popular modern helicopter.
The Eurocopter Tiger is a four-blade twin-engine attack helicopter that entered service in 2003 and is built by a European group (today Airbus Helicopters). In France and in Spain it is designated Tigre. It serves to support ground forces, for anti-tank combat and for reconnaissance; besides the European armies it is also operated by Australia. It is marked by modern avionics and a wide range of armament.
Use liquid cement for plastic and seat the small parts (sensors, armament, landing gear) carefully. Paint the cockpit before the fuselage is closed up. We recommend a base coat, an airbrush and light washes; modern dark camouflage comes out well with restrained weathering and emphasis on the panel lines. The rotor blades can be painted separately to keep things manageable.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
