An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet T-34/76 medium tank in the Mod.1943 variant from Dragon in 1:72 scale. The model captures the later form with a welded turret and a commander's cupola. Parts allowing fine detail and tracks in a flexible material are usually included. The instructions enclosed in the package give the exact number of parts.
The T-34 is among the most important tanks of the Second World War, combining sloped armor, a powerful diesel and a wide track base into an exceptionally balanced whole. The version of 1943 brought a commander's cupola, which for the first time gave the commander an all-round view from the protected space of the turret, and a number of production simplifications for series output. It is this form of the T-34 with a 76 mm gun that is typical of the battlefields of the eastern front in the turning period of the war.
The parts are injection-molded from plastic; glue them with thin cement for plastic. In a small scale take care over cleaning up the tiny parts and over clean joints. Finish the running gear before you close the hull. For painting use Soviet green, bring the work to life by lightening the upper surfaces, a dark wash into the detail and dust pigments on the fenders and the lower hull. An airbrush makes an even coat easier.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
