An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet T-28 medium tank on a railroad chassis (on rails) in 1:72 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer UM (UniModels). The model combines the multi-turret T-28 tank with a railroad running gear and belongs to the maker's range of armored and railroad vehicles. The package combines polystyrene parts with photo-etched detail and a decal sheet; sections of track are usually included. For the exact contents, follow the instructions included.
The T-28 was a Soviet multi-turret medium tank of the 1930s with a main turret and smaller machine gun turrets. Adapting the tank to run on rails allowed rapid movement and use as a mobile armored firing position on the rail network – a solution related to armored trains and railcars.
Glue the model with liquid cement for plastic and attach the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Pay attention to the multi-turret arrangement and to the railroad running gear. We recommend a primer, an airbrush and picking out the details with a wash; weather the running gear and the underside with pigments. The track sections included let you set the model up in a scene.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
