No scale suffers more from over-thick glazing than 1:72, which makes 1:72 vacuum-formed canopies one of the quickest upgrades on the bench. Clear drawn hoods are listed for MiGs, Avias, Yaks and Western jets, many in open and closed form or bagged with a set of masks.
In a small scale thin drawn film is the difference between a milky window and a cockpit you can actually see into. Build the airframe from 1:72 aircraft model kits and browse hoods for the remaining scales under vacuum-formed canopies. For crisp framing, 1:72 canopy masks are cut for the same kits.
