An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet Yakovlev Yak-11 trainer in 1:72 scale from the manufacturer Mikromir. The small-scale model captures the typical shapes of this widespread training machine. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Yak-11 was a single-engined advanced trainer used to train fighter pilots after the Second World War. It was powered by a radial engine and, thanks to its easy handling and its durability, it spread to a number of countries. It served for decades and is a popular subject among enthusiasts of aviation history too.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and, with small-scale models, take care over clean joints and fine sanding. Apply a primer before painting and finish the cockpit before you close the fuselage. Lay the shades on with an airbrush, use a gloss coat under the decals and unify the surface with matte or semi-gloss varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
