The UH-34D in South Vietnamese Air Force markings of 1966 in 1:72 scale is a finished model: it is supplied assembled and painted, and nothing has to be built or painted.
Responsibility details are not available.
A finished collector model of the piston-engined UH-34D helicopter in the South Vietnamese Air Force markings given in the product name, with a reference to the year 1966. The model from the maker Easy Model is assembled, painted and provided with markings already in production. It is not a kit: you do not get sprues of parts but a finished example ready to be displayed.
The UH-34D is the transport variant of the H-34 family of helicopters, with a piston radial engine in the nose. The fuselage has a high-set pilot's cabin, under which the angled drive shaft runs to the main rotor, and a roomy cargo cabin with large side doors. The landing gear is fixed and of tailwheel type, with the main wheels under the front part of the fuselage. In the 1960s the type was used in Southeast Asia above all for carrying people and materiel and for rescue flights; its piston power sets it apart from the turbine machines that later replaced it.
The main difference is time and certainty of the result. A helicopter kit in 1:72 scale means several evenings of work, masking the glazing, thin antennas and a rotor head, where mistakes are easiest. A finished model skips that step: you get a uniformly painted example with the markings applied, which can be put in a display case at once. For a collection put together from several types that means it looks even and that finishes of varying success are not mixed in it. Take the model in your hand by the fuselage, not by the rotor or the tail boom.
The model is supplied finished, assembled and painted. Nothing is glued or painted.
