A resin kit of the F-2A airfield maintenance (shop) trailer. The set in 1:72 scale is intended for experienced modelers and serves as an accessory for a USAF airfield scene. This is not an aircraft model but ground support equipment (GSE) for bringing a diorama to life.
Flightline trailers of the F-2A line belonged to the common equipment of the flight lines of the US Air Force. The shop version served as a mobile workstation for aircraft maintenance right on the flight line, with space for tools and equipment. The trailers were moved by an airfield tow tractor.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, carefully cut off the casting blocks and join them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue); sand with respiratory protection. In a small scale, pay attention to the fine details. Apply primer; an airbrush is advisable, with washes and pigments for the finish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
