Amodel 1:72 Yakovlev Yak-18 is an injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet training aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
Injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from Amodel. The model represents the Soviet Yakovlev Yak-18 trainer, a two-seat machine used for basic flying training. It is a short-run kit for more experienced modelers.
The Yak-18 was a two-seat trainer with tandem seating, powered by a radial engine. It appeared after the Second World War and became the basic training type of Soviet and allied flying schools and clubs. Over the course of production it went through a series of changes to the landing gear and the powerplant.
Cut the parts from the sprues with a sharp knife and clean them up, then glue with thin cement for plastic. Finish the cockpit with its tandem seats before closing up the fuselage. We recommend spraying a primer and using an airbrush; bring out the glossy trainer finishes with a fine sheen and seal the decals with clear coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
