The maker is Aoshima of Japan, one of the long-standing brands of automotive modeling. The model is meant to be glued and painted; the exact number of parts and the contents of the package are given in the instructions supplied with the kit. A base version of this car and separate detail accessories are also made, so the model can be developed further.
The Pagani Huayra is an Italian limited-production hypercar that followed on from the Zonda model. It is powered by a turbocharged twelve-cylinder engine supplied by a German partner, the body rests on a composite structure, and the car became famous for its pair of upward-opening doors. The most striking technical feature is the active aerodynamics with four separately controlled flaps at the front and rear ends, which change the downforce according to speed, braking and steering angle. The Pacchetto Tempesta package was offered as optional equipment aimed at looks and aerodynamics, bringing reworked body items and different wheels. The interior of the car is typified by a combination of exposed aluminum, leather and mechanically conceived controls.
The body of a hypercar lives on the depth of its paint, so it pays to take it slowly. Wash and degrease the parts first, sand the mold seams lightly and apply a primer. Spray the paint in thin coats with enough time between them, and a gloss clear coat and any polishing come at the end. Finish and fit the interior and the engine section before you close the body up. Glue the glazing only with a glue made for clear parts, as ordinary model cement would fog the transparent areas. Do not sand the chrome items and do not mask them with tape carrying an aggressive adhesive. Apply the decals onto a gloss base and clear-coat them once dry.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
