The Print Scale UH-1 in the Vietnam War, part 3 (1:48) is a set of waterslide decals with markings for Bell UH-1 Huey helicopters from the fighting in Vietnam. It is not a kit but an accessory for a plastic model of your own.
Responsibility details are not available.
This set brings waterslide decals with markings for Bell UH-1 Huey helicopters used during the war in Vietnam. It is neither a model nor parts of one, but a separate aftermarket sheet with which you bring to life and sharpen up the surface of a Huey plastic model already built in 1:48 scale. The set brings national insignia, tactical numbers and additional markings for particular machines.
The Bell UH-1, nicknamed the Huey, became the symbol of the air mobility of the US Army in Vietnam. It served to carry troops, to evacuate the wounded, as fire support and as a supply machine, and its characteristic silhouette and rotor sound are among the icons of the whole conflict.
Apply the decals over a smooth gloss varnish, which prevents silvering under the film. Cut the individual motif out, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds, slide it off the backing into place and press the excess water out gently. A decal softener and a decal fixer are recommended, so that the motif settles even on a broken-up surface. Once dry, go over it with a matte or semi-gloss varnish.
This is a decal set on its own. The plastic model, paints and glue are not included in the package.
