The Supermarine Spitfire Mk.IX came about as a response to the appearance of high-performance German fighters. It combined the proven Spitfire airframe with a more powerful Rolls-Royce Merlin engine with a two-stage supercharger, which gave it back its superiority in altitude and speed. The Mk.IX version was among the most widespread and fought on many battlefields of the Second World War.
Use liquid modeling cement on the joints of the plastic parts. Apply primer before painting and lay the British camouflage scheme on with an airbrush, area by area. Coat the surfaces with gloss varnish before the decals and, once dry, matte them down according to the look you want.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
