Responsibility details are not available.
A decal alphabet in lowercase letters, black, in heights of 1 to 3 mm. It is not finished lettering but a kit of text: the letters are taken off the sheet one at a time and assembled into any word. The figure in the name is the dimension of a letter, not the scale of a model.
Ready-made decal lettering is convenient, but it offers only what the maker printed. As soon as you need the particular name of a firm, a label on a crate, lettering above an office door or a street name that appears in no set, individual letters are the only way. Lowercase letters also solve situations where capitals would look too loud: ordinary texts, small labels, operational information. The range of 1 to 3 mm is aimed at the smallest lettering, which the viewer reads from immediately close up.
The hardest part of setting is not the application itself but the alignment. Stick a narrow strip of masking tape onto the base beforehand, therefore, and seat the letters along its edge rather than by eye. Work from the first character to the last and check the spacing after every letter, because at a size under 3 mm a deviation of half a millimeter reads as a typing error. Transfer the letters with a wet brush, not with tweezers, which easily tear a tiny decal. The base has to be glossy, otherwise a silver rim will form around every character. Once dry, remove the tape, matte the surface and weather the line gently so that it does not look like fresh printing.
An accessory for building dioramas and models. The gloss coat, a decal softener and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
