A collector's model of Czechoslovak heavy fortifications in 1:1000 scale from the Czech association ROP, which specializes in models of fortification works. It captures the isolated T-S 81a infantry casemate, nicknamed Na hrebeni, in the Trutnov area.
The T-S 81a was an isolated infantry casemate of the heavy fortifications built for the defense of Czechoslovakia in 1937 and 1938. It stood in the area of the Stachelberg artillery fort, on the left flank of its sector. The building of the border fortifications was cut short by the Munich Agreement and the ceding of the border regions in the autumn of 1938, so a number of the works were left unfinished.
A small model in 1:1000 scale is meant above all for collecting and for completing maps or models of fortification sectors. Washing the model and freeing it of grease before painting is recommended; for a concrete look, gray shades completed by a wash and a dry brush to bring out the texture and the groundwork around it work well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
