Responsibility details are not available.
An accessory from the maker Kits-World for a cockpit in 1:32 scale. The full-color print of the instrument panel is printed on decal paper and is transferred into a model as a decal. It deals with the most laborious part of an interior, the dials, the scales and their differentiation by color, without painting with a brush.
An instrument panel belongs among the technical designs: it is not meant to catch the eye at first glance like a pronounced marking on a fuselage, but it has to stand up to examination from close up. That is precisely why it pays off to give time to the seating. The design aims at the surface of the cast part and its edges must coincide with the outline of the plastic, not with the frame of the dashboard or with the structure around it. The cockpit of this type is clearly visible under the sliding part of the cover, so even a slight turn shows. If you combine a printed panel with sprayed features in a cockpit, unify the shade of the surroundings and accentuate the edges only lightly; the contrast between the print and flat paint otherwise comes across as artificial.
First level the surface under the decal and varnish it with a gloss varnish. Soak the print briefly in warm water, transfer it with a brush, push the water out from under it and only then apply the softener drop by drop. A thicker layer of decal benefits from two weaker applications rather than one flooding. Once it is completely dry, go over the surroundings with a matte varnish and leave the glasses glossy.
An accessory for a model. A kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
