The third sheet of a line that covers the personal equipment of the enlisted men of the German land army in the form of the years 1938 to 1940. It is neither a model nor a figure but printed decals in full color with a slight relief. The 1:35 scale matches the usual figures supplied with kits of vehicles as well as separate sets of figures.
The equipment of a single soldier amounts to a lot even in a small scale and one sheet will not cover it. Kits-World therefore divided the theme into several sets; this one is designated as the third. The practical consequence for buying is simple: the parts complement one another, they do not replace one another. If you are building a scene with several figures, it makes sense to combine several sheets; if you are dealing with one figure, choose the sheet according to which pieces of equipment you need. Because the maker offers several sets that are close in content, always go by the exact designation of the part, not merely by the name of the line.
The base under a decal must be glossy, otherwise a silvery veil will appear under the layer. Separate the decal in warm water, move it onto the figure with a brush and adjust the position without pressure. Dose the softener drop by drop and let it act by itself; with a relief layer it holds that a mechanical intervention with a brush will wrinkle it rather than help. In pronouncedly shaped places repeat the application of the softener rather twice in a smaller dose. Finally varnish everything matte, so that the sheen of the base disappears and the equipment looks like textile and leather.
