1:24 Nissan Fairlady Z (Z32) Version R Twin Turbo 2by2 (1998) is a plastic kit of the late guise of the fourth generation of the Japanese coupe.

The kit captures the top guise of the Fairlady Z from 1998, that is from the time when the Z32 generation was nearing the end of production. The body is injection-molded in yellow plastic, self-adhesive masks for the glazing are enclosed, and on top of that there are parts for the front bumper, the rear and side spoilers, an underbody cover, Recaro seats, xenon headlights, fog lights and front turn signals. The finished car measures around one hundred and ninety millimeters.
The Z32 type appeared at the end of the 1980s, and against its predecessor it was a leap in every direction: a low wide body, an elaborate suspension and a V6 with a displacement of three liters, force-fed by two turbochargers. The designation 2by2 belongs to the longer variant with an occasional rear bench, which was noticeably more practical than the two-seat coupe. The Version R stood at the top of the hierarchy and offered sportier equipment; late examples like this one are among the sought-after youngtimers today.
A colored body tempts you to leave the plastic unpainted, but the result is worth a primer and a few thin coats of paint followed by polishing. Mask the glazing with the enclosed stickers before you spray the frames. The interior with its Recaro seats is worth setting apart by picking out the texture of the fabric with a dry brush, and the chrome on the wheels is worth protecting from glue.
The car is supplied unassembled and unpainted; you will not find paints or glue in the package.
