Responsibility details are not available.
A set of decals for figures in 1:35 scale, focused on British webbing designated as P37, that is the 1937 Pattern. The printing is full-color and carries a slight relief, so once seated the straps and the pouches do not come across as a flat printed surface. These are not cast or printed parts but decals.
British canvas webbing was not maintained with paint but with a product called Blanco, which was applied to the textile. That determined the resulting shade, and that is why the same webbing looks sandy and light in some photographs and green in others. This set is printed in the shade carried as No.61 Buff, that is the light sandy ocher variant. The maker also offers the same pattern of webbing in further Blanco shades, so when choosing go precisely by the designation of the shade, not merely by the name of the line, otherwise you will get the green variant instead of the light one. The addition of Bren and SMLE in the name refers to the guise matching an armament with the Bren gun and the Lee-Enfield rifle.
First apply a gloss varnish to the figure, so that no silvery veil forms under a decal. Release the decal in warm water and move it with a brush, without pressure and without pushing it with a fingernail. Dose the softener drop by drop and let it work by itself; a relief layer is easily wrinkled once a brush has been run over it. On the straps running over the shoulder and the back, count on the decal needing more time and possibly a second dose of softener. Once it is dry, unify the surface with a matte varnish, so that the webbing comes across as textile.
These are decals, not a model or a figure. Paints, varnishes, a softener and figures are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
