Color elements for the cabin of a Bell UH-1C Huey helicopter model in 1:48 scale: the cabin insulation lining and the seat belts.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Huey cabin is glazed and open on both sides, so a great deal of it is visible once the model is finished. This set aims at exactly that: it carries elements rendered in color that imitate the cabin insulation lining and the seat belts. Both belong to the details that are hard to make from plastic and that the eye notices first. Where exactly the individual elements go and how many of them the box holds is given in the instructions enclosed with the set.
The Bell UH-1, nicknamed the Huey, is an American multi-purpose helicopter that became a symbol of the war in Vietnam. It stands on skids rather than on a wheeled undercarriage and carries a two-blade main rotor with its characteristic sound. The UH-1C version is one of the earlier variants of the type and was modified for armed support, so armament on the sides suits it on a model as well.
Before applying them, check the instructions to see whether the elements are self-adhesive; the method of application differs between the individual lines and follows the manufacturer's instructions. Clean and degrease the surface in the cabin before gluing, transfer the element with tweezers and press it down with a soft stick so that it adheres in the hollows as well. Settle the belts so that they fall loosely over the edge of the seat rather than lying taut; only then do they begin to look like fabric. Finish the cabin before you close the fuselage.
A set of cabin elements is supplied. The helicopter model, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
