Yahu Models 1:32 DH 82 Tiger Moth black instrument panel is a finished instrument panel in the black version for a model of the British training biplane.
Responsibility details are not available.
A finished cockpit accessory that replaces the plastic part with the instrument panel. The name specifies the version: it is the variant with a black panel, which matters, because machines of this type differed in service in the color of the panel as well. The set is intended for 1:32 scale and it is not a decal.
The de Havilland DH.82 Tiger Moth is a two-seat training biplane with open cockpits placed in tandem. The instrumentation was deliberately spare, matching basic training, and consisted of a group of analog dials on a flat panel. An open cockpit with no canopy means that the interior is visible through practically the whole upper half of the fuselage, so on this type nothing can be hidden in the cockpit. A finished panel is therefore a greater gain than on aircraft with a narrow glazed canopy.
Compare the plastic part in the model with the accessory and, if need be, thin it or sand away the relief of the dials. Always a dry fit first, and only then glue. Use cyanoacrylate in the tiniest drops; a larger amount wicks across the surface and leaves matte patches. Hold the part with tweezers, because fingerprints on the face show. On a trainer it is worth adding seat harness straps and a control column to the cockpit as well, because the empty space under an open opening is conspicuous.
The accessory is supplied on its own, without a kit, paints and glue.
