Yahu Models 1:72 Curtiss rudder pedals are photo-etched rudder pedals for models of Curtiss aircraft, a replacement for coarse plastic parts.
Responsibility details are not available.
A small metal accessory for the cockpit that replaces plastic pedals or adds them to a model where the kit lacks them. It is neither an instrument panel nor a decal; they are photo-etched parts that are cut from the fret, bent if need be and glued into the cockpit floor.
Rudder pedals in 1:72 scale are on the limit of what can be injected into a mold. In kits they therefore tend to be either thick and simplified in shape, or missing altogether. Yet they are parts you see right under the instrument panel in an open or well-glazed cockpit. Photo-etched metal is thin in a proportion that plastic cannot manage, so the result looks correct for the scale.
Separate the parts from the fret with a sharp knife on a hard surface, not with scissors, which twist the metal. File the fret tab remnant away with a fine file. If a part needs a bend, use a photo-etch bending tool or two straight tweezer jaws and bend in one movement; repeated bending breaks the metal. Degrease, apply a primer suitable for metal and paint according to the interior of the aircraft in question. They are glued with cyanoacrylate in the tiniest drop applied with a toothpick. Fit everything before you close the cockpit.
The accessory is supplied on its own, without a kit, paints and glue.
