Mantis Miniatures 1:35 SS Feldgendarmerie is a figure subject of the field gendarmerie in 1:35 scale, intended to be painted and set into a scene.
Responsibility details are not available.
An item from the Mantis Miniatures figure range for 1:35 scale. The subject matches members of the field gendarmerie, that is of the military police. It is supplied unpainted and is an accessory for a diorama or a vignette, not a vehicle kit.
The dress matches a field uniform with a belt and carried pouches; a military police figure tends to be completed in figure sets with equipment relating to its role in directing the movement of units. In 1:35 scale a standing figure comes out at roughly fifty millimeters, a size suitable for well-worked faces and for the texture of cloth and leather.
Wash the castings in lukewarm water with detergent and let them dry, and only then apply the primer. Put the primer on thinly and preferably by spraying, so that the features of the face are not clogged. Paint the uniform from a mid gray-green, make the shadow with a darker shade of the same color and lighten the edges of the folds. Finish the leather parts in dark brown and with matte varnish. When you are building several figures into one scene, mix your shades with a small shift; uniforms never looked the same on two people and a uniform color flattens a scene. Build the flesh in layers from a mid color to shadow and light, and at the end unify the whole figure with matte varnish.
The castings are supplied unpainted. Paints, glue and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
