An HGW masking set for the Curtiss P-40M Warhawk in 1:32 scale makes it easier to spray the cockpit glazing cleanly, along with the other places where the paint needs a sharp edge.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is not a kit but an accessory. The set holds painting masks cut to the shape of the glazing and of other areas of the Curtiss P-40M model in the large 1:32 scale. The masks follow the framing of the cockpit, so there is no laborious cutting of tape with a knife and the paint lands exactly where it belongs.
The P-40M belongs to the later versions of the American Curtiss P-40 fighter with the Allison V12 engine. It served mainly with Allied air forces and differed from the earlier versions in details of the cowling and the equipment. In the large 1:32 scale the framing of the canopy is prominent and imprecise masking shows at once on the finished model, which is why this accessory is worth the effort.
The set is an accessory to a kit. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
