This is an add-on set of replacement road wheels in resin, not a model. The set from the manufacturer Elefant is meant for the kit of the light tank destroyer Jagdpanzer 38 (Hetzer) from Tamiya in 1:35 scale and matches the wheel variant with sixteen rivets and a narrow hub collar. The contents are enough for one model.
The Jagdpanzer 38 was a German light tank destroyer from the end of the Second World War built on the chassis of the Pz.38(t). The road wheels are among the best visible parts of the running gear, and resin castings offer sharper detail on the rivets and the lightening holes than the plastic discs. The variant is set apart by the number of rivets and by the width of the collar, so it is worth pairing it with the right subject.
Wash the remains of the mold release agent off the parts first, cut the casting blocks away carefully and join them with cyanoacrylate glue. Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Paint the wheels with an airbrush before fitting them and build the weathering up with washes and pigments for mud and dust effects.
