The black version of a sticker with the motif of the Avia S-199 fighter, numbered in the range as the second treatment of this type. It is a promotional item, not a modeling part: it is neither masking film nor a decal and it is not used in building a model. Besides this version the range also has version 1, both in black and in white.
The Avia S-199 was a post-war Czechoslovak fighter built on the airframe of the Messerschmitt Bf 109 G. Because the original engines were missing, the aircraft received a Junkers Jumo 211 from bomber production, together with a different propeller. The change of powerplant worsened the machine's behavior at low speeds and on the ground, and pilots therefore regarded the type as demanding. Even so, it was the first fighter of the re-established Czechoslovak Air Force and the machines also reached service abroad.
For collectors of motifs and for modelers who want the second design to pair with the first. The black color reads well on a light surface; for dark surfaces a white version of the same design exists as well.
