Tamiya CA cement and primer set (for PP/PE/POM/EVA)

This product is not a kit but a set of modeling adhesive. It contains super glue (cyanoacrylate, CA) and, with it, a primer intended for hard to bond plastics - polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), polyacetal (POM) and EVA. On these materials neither ordinary plastic cement nor super glue on its own holds reliably; the primer treats the surface so that the joint holds. The set also suits bonding these plastics to standard polystyrene - in that case the primer is applied to the non-styrene part only.

Use

• Apply a thin coat of the primer to the surfaces to be bonded and let it dry.
• Then apply the super glue to one side of the joint and bring the parts together.
• Typically: PP wheels, PE poly caps, POM chassis parts, some EVA tracks.
• Work precisely - CA glue sets fast and is hard to remove.
