A separate figure of an American tanker in a one-piece work coverall, cast in resin in 1:35, from the figure line of the maker PANZER ART. It is not a vehicle kit but an add-on to a finished model and for a diorama. The number in the name denotes the second variant within the same line — with the item No. 1 it forms a pair of separate figures that can be used side by side at one vehicle. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The casting is divided into the torso with the coverall, the head, the arms and the small items of equipment. The coverall forms a continuous area without a break at the waist, which simplifies the painting but at the same time puts the emphasis on the work with the folds around the waist, the elbows and the knees. The mold seam lines are carried along the sides of the figure and along the inner side of the limbs, and the individual parts are held on casting blocks. The pockets, the zipper and the belt are brought out in relief.
Wash the casting in lukewarm water with dish soap first, because of the mold release agent. Cut the casting block off with a saw away from the detail, sand the face down and protect your airways while sanding resin. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate), then apply a thin primer. Build the painting on coats: the base shade of the coverall, a dark wash into the folds, a lighter tone with a dry brush on the knees, the shoulders and the edges of the sleeves. Suggest the wear on the exposed places softly, without a sharp boundary. Build the skin from a middle tone through a glaze in the eye sockets and under the chin up to a lighter stroke on the nose and the cheekbones. Leave the leather straps darker than the cloth and with a hint of satin sheen; the uniform stays matte. When you are building No. 1 and No. 2 into one scene, mix the base shade for both figures at once. At the end bring the surface together with a matte clear coat.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
