A resin set of figures in 1:35 from the line of the maker PANZER ART. The word set in the name means a multi-figure package — unlike the individual items with a sequence number, you get several figures at once, which is useful when you are building a whole scene and not just an add-on to a vehicle.
The dress of paratroopers has a different cut of the outer clothing and a different shape of helmet than infantry figures, so the painting has a different division of the areas as well. The addition Italy in the name tells you about the period execution of the equipment, not about the contents of the package.
The figures are cast in casting resin and divided into several parts, so that the mold can manage the undercuts at the arms, the heads and the equipment. The mold seam lines run along the natural edges of the clothing. Resin does not bond with cement for plastic. Check the exact number of figures in the set on the packaging.
Wash the parts in warm water with dish soap, so that the mold release agent is removed. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a cutting disc and sand the faces down; protect your airways while sanding resin. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate), fill the seams and apply a primer. With a multi-figure set, plan the layout of the figures on a base in advance — the position of the legs and the gaze of the heads settle whether the scene holds together. Take the camouflage pattern as a painting task: the ground, then the patches with a thin brush from the lighter ones to the darker ones, and only at the end the shading of the folds. Apply a gloss intermediate coat before the washes and the pigments; a final matte clear coat brings all the figures together into one surface.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
