A resin set of figures in 1:35 from the line of the maker PANZER ART. The word set in the name means a multi-figure package — it is useful when you are building a whole scene at a parked vehicle and do not want to get the figures one at a time. Resting poses hold a diorama scene together and look natural.
Tanker clothing has a different cut from an infantry uniform: a shorter jacket, different headgear and a different division of the color areas. With relaxed stances the folds are moreover deeper and more irregular, so the quality of the shading stands out.
The figures are cast in casting resin and divided into several parts, so that the mold can manage the undercuts at the arms, the heads and the equipment. The mold seam lines run along the natural edges of the clothing. The material does not bond with cement for plastic. Check the exact number of figures in the set on the packaging.
Wash the parts in warm water with dish soap, so that the mold release agent is removed. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a cutting disc and sand the faces down; protect your airways while sanding resin. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate), fill the seams, then apply a primer. With a multi-figure set, plan the placing of the figures first and try them dry on the model or on a base — with resting poses the mating surfaces are often adjusted. Paint in coats from the base through a darker glaze in the folds to a lighter emphasis on the edges; give the figures slightly different shades of cloth, so that the group does not look uniform. Apply a gloss intermediate coat before the washes and the pigments; a final matte clear coat brings all the figures together into one surface.
