A set of figures of American tankers refueling a vehicle, 1:35 scale. Meant for bringing a vehicle model or a diorama to life.
Responsibility details are not available.
Refueling belongs among the scenes that say more about the life of a crew than a tank standing on a stand by itself. There is work in it, waiting and the mess around, that is exactly what makes a diorama believable. This set of figures in 1:35 represents American tankers at that very activity. How many figures it contains, what poses they are in and what accessories come with them is stated by the manufacturer.
Plan the arrangement before you glue anything. Stand the figures on paper beside the model and try out where their gazes and hands meet; a scene holds together only when the figures plainly relate to one another. Watch the height of the level the figure stands on, so that the feet neither hang above the terrain nor sink into it. Cut the excess material and the traces of production off a little way from the part with a sharp blade and sand the remainder gently. Choose the glue according to the material of the parts stated by the manufacturer, and apply it in the tiniest amount, so that it does not run into the drawing of the folds.
Wash and degrease the figures before painting, or the paint will not hold. Paint them separately from the vehicle and seat them only once finished, or you will not reach the lower parts with a brush. Proceed from the large areas to the details and leave the face for the end. The coverall and the gloves stand out when you bring the edges and the folds out; otherwise the fine drawing merges into one area.
Paints, brushes and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
