This is a resin accessory to a model, not a kit of the vehicle. The set holds wheels for the American Buffalo MPCV wheeled mine-clearing vehicle in 1:35 scale and replaces the matching parts of the base plastic kit. The maker PANZER ART is a Polish brand specializing in cast accessories for armored vehicles. On large wheeled vehicles resin wheels are popular above all because they are cast in one piece and the gluing and filling of split plastic tires is avoided. The set is meant for the Bronco kit.
The Buffalo MPCV belongs to the family of heavy vehicles with resistance to mines and improvised devices, designed with a markedly raised V-shaped hull that deflects the blast away from the crew. The vehicle is wheeled, exceptionally tall and carries characteristic massive off-road tires with a coarse tread. It is precisely the wheels that make up a large part of its appearance, so on a model in 1:35 scale they are the most conspicuous and the way they are made affects the overall impression a great deal.
Wash the castings in warm water with dish soap, so that the release agent is removed. Cut the casting blocks off with a fine saw; on large wheels the block tends to be substantial, so expect longer sanding and protect your breathing. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Before gluing, check that all the wheels stand at the same height and that the model does not scrape its base. On painting: a primer, then the tires in a dark gray shade rather than in pure black, bring the tread out with a dry brush and lay dust pigments on the sides. Set the discs apart in the color of the vehicle.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base Bronco kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
