1:35 M3 Scout Car road wheels (Goodyear) is a resin set of road wheels with a Goodyear tread from PANZER ART. It is not a kit of the vehicle but a replacement part for a plastic model of the American M3 armored car.

The resin set of road wheels from PANZER ART is meant for building the American M3 Scout Car light armored car in 1:35 scale. It is not a model of the vehicle nor a complete kit, but an accessory with which the wheels from a plastic kit are replaced. A resin casting can carry a finer drawing of the tread, a sharper sidewall edge and more legible tire lettering than is reachable in injection molded plastic from a split mold.
The M3 Scout Car was an American light armored car with all-wheel drive, an open hull and only light armor. It was used for reconnaissance, liaison, carrying commanders and escorting convoys, and during the Second World War it reached other Allied armies as well. Vehicles of this class ran on tires from several makers and the tread differed on particular machines, which is why sets of wheels are offered in variants. The Goodyear designation in the name identifies exactly the tread pattern this casting is cut for.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with a drop of dish soap first, so that the remains of the mold release agent are removed, as otherwise the paint will not hold. Separate the casting blocks with a fine saw or a cutting disc and never break them off. Sand wet and with your airways protected. Resin is not bonded by cement for plastic, so use super glue. Apply a primer before painting. Paint the resin wheels dark gray or gray-black, as pure black looks flat at scale, and bring out the grooves of the tread and the dust on the sidewalls with a dry brush or with pigments.
The accessory is supplied unpainted, as resin castings. The base model, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
