Black Dog 1:35 Ukrainian soldier No. 3 is a resin figure of a modern Ukrainian soldier in 1:35 scale for rounding out dioramas and display scenes.
Responsibility details are not available.
A single figure of a modern Ukrainian soldier in 1:35 scale from Black Dog. It is not a vehicle model but an accessory that is added to a finished vehicle or to a diorama. The casting in modeling resin holds the fine details that are hard to form in injection-molded plastic: the layout of the gear, the straps, the folds of the cloth.
The figure represents a soldier in current field gear. The 1:35 scale is the most widespread scale for models of ground vehicles, so the figure matches vehicles, guns and groundwork bases in the same scale. The pose and the particular equipment are set by the particular casting.
Wash the castings first in water with detergent, as resin is usually covered with mold release agent and paint would not hold on it. Cut the casting blocks off and sand the area down with respiratory protection. Bond the joints with super glue (cyanoacrylate); fill larger gaps with a drop of glue and a modeling filler. The figure looks best set into a setting: a piece of groundwork, muddy boots, dust on the lower parts of the clothing. Lay the paint on thinly and build the uniform tone up in transitions rather than in a single coat.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
