This detailing set from the manufacturer Wolfpack replaces the plastic exhaust nozzle on a model of the South Korean KAI T-50 Golden Eagle trainer aircraft in 1:48 scale. The resin casting holds a thin trailing edge and the division of the petals, which on injection-molded plastic can only be suggested. The inside of the nozzle, meanwhile, tends to be one of the first places a viewer looks at on a finished model. The set is intended for the Academy kit.

The T-50 Golden Eagle is a supersonic aircraft developed by Korea Aerospace Industries in cooperation with an American partner. It serves as an advanced trainer and, in derived versions, as a light combat aircraft as well. It is single-engine, with a tandem two-seat cockpit and side air intakes. Because of the single engine the nozzle on the tail stands alone and is visually prominent, which makes it a key detail on the model.
Wash the resin parts in lukewarm soapy water to remove the mold release agent. Cut the casting block off with a fine saw or a cutting disc, and do not break it away. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate), as a cement for plastic models will not help here. Do the sanding work wet and with respiratory protection. Apply a primer before painting. The inner surfaces of the nozzle are usually built from metallic shades with a gradual transition into warmer tones at the trailing edge, and a thin dark wash will bring out the division of the petals.
This is an accessory to a plastic kit, not a model in its own right. The set is supplied unpainted; glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
