Decals in 1:48 scale with the Ukrainian digital camouflage pattern for a model of the Su-25 ground-attack aircraft. The second sheet of this range.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Su-25 is a ground-attack aircraft built for the support of ground units from low altitude. A rugged airframe, an armored cockpit and a series of pylons under the straight wing match that. Ukrainian machines wear, among other things, digital camouflage, that is, a pattern made up of small angular fields instead of soft transitions. A pattern like that is very difficult to spray, because every field has a sharp edge and a regular size.
Decals with the digital camouflage pattern for a model in 1:48 scale. The pattern is applied as a print, so the cutting out of hundreds of small masks falls away and the result has the same size of fields over the whole model. Which parts of the model the sheet covers, how many schemes it contains and which kit it is cut for are given in the manufacturer's instructions, so go through the documentation before the build, as the placement of the pattern will affect the order of the work.
The base has to be smooth and glossy, as on a matte coat air is held under the decal and the edge turns white. Cut the decal out, immerse it for a few seconds in lukewarm water and let it rest until it starts to move on the paper. Slide it onto the place, do not pull it. Press the water out from under it with a cotton swab from the center toward the edges. On an intricate surface use a softener, so that the print settles into the engraving. Once it is dry, go over the model with a matte varnish, which will even the edges of the print out with the surroundings.
What is supplied is a sheet of decals. The model, paints, varnish and the softener are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
