An accessory from the maker Kits-World for the cockpit of a model in 1:32 scale. The full-color print of the instrument panel with a three-dimensional structure is printed on decal paper and is transferred into a model as a decal. It is neither a kit nor a part to be glued.
A printed design and sprayed paint are two different surfaces, and side by side even people who do not build models recognize it. If you combine this panel with hand-painted features in a cockpit, unify them: leave the surrounding surfaces in a subdued shade, accentuate the edges only lightly and go over the whole interior with the same matte varnish at the end. The panel then looks like part of the cockpit, not like a stuck-on label. Watch the order of the work as well: apply the decal before the seat and the side parts go into the cockpit, otherwise you will not reach the surface.
Sand the cast dials in the kit flat and smooth the surface. Varnish the base with a gloss varnish, otherwise silvering arises. Soak the decal in warm water only until it releases, transfer it with a brush, straighten it against the outline of the part and push the water out from under it. Dose the softener drop by drop, rather in two goes than in one flooding. Once it is completely dry, apply the matte varnish to the surroundings and bring the glasses of the instruments to life with a drop of gloss varnish.
