An accessory set of the Italian twin-barrel weapon Villar Perosa M1915 in 1:32 scale for models of First World War aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Villar Perosa M1915 is an Italian weapon of the First World War that cannot be mistaken for anything else: two barrels side by side in one body, pistol ammunition of 9 mm caliber and an extremely high rate of fire, because of which the magazines emptied in a few moments. Originally it was intended for use on aircraft, where an observer worked it, and later it moved to ground units as well. On a model it is a conspicuous element, because the pair of barrels and the prominent magazines above the body of the weapon draw the eye even in 1:32 scale.
The set is an accessory to models of aircraft in 1:32 scale, that is, for builders of machines of the First World War period whose kit lacks a well worked out observer's armament. It will also find a use in a display case and in a diorama as a small standalone object.
The parts are not polystyrene and are bonded with super glue. Cut the excess material and the traces of manufacture away with a sharp blade a little from the part and sand the remainder carefully, so that you do not damage the barrels or the fine edges. Wash and degrease the parts before painting, otherwise the paint will not hold. The metal of the weapon looks good in a dark steel tone, over which a light pass with a dry brush in a silvery shade once dry will bring out the edges. The particular procedure for preparing the parts is given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
