This is hardware for modelers, not a kit. The individual rivets are set into pre-drilled holes and replace the shallow relief with which a kit only suggests the heads of bolts. The 1.0 mm diameter is among the largest of the manufacturer's riveting range, so on a model of a motorcycle in 1:12 scale it corresponds to a head of roughly twelve millimeters on the real machine.
The 1.0 mm size is intended for places where a joint is to be visible: the anchoring of the fairing to the frame, the mounting of the radiator, the joints of the exhaust system, the mounts of the brake calipers or the disc carriers. In these places the head is substantial on the real machine as well and a finer size would be lost on a model. The letter in the name tells the individual configurations within the same range apart; the manufacturer keeps several of them and they differ precisely in the treatment of the head. If you need to match the look with rivets already fitted, compare the variants side by side before buying.
Drill with a micro drill bit slightly narrower than the shank of the rivet and level the edge of the hole cleanly, so that the head seats flush. A rivet fitted crookedly spoils the impression more than a missing detail. Work over a base with a raised edge and fit them with tweezers with rounded tips. Dose the glue with the tip of a pin; an excess by a glossy head cannot be masked even with paint. As a rule, set the rivets in only after the given area has been painted, and apply the wash around the head, not over it, so that it keeps its metallic gloss.
