The small cast kit 1:100 BA-27 Soviet Armoured Car captures the first Soviet armored car in production. The brand Zebrano makes it in resin for experienced modelers.
Responsibility details are not available.
This small kit cast from resin is intended for modelers who have already worked with the material. The Belarusian brand Zebrano concentrates on equipment in small scales, where the accuracy of the casting decides more than the number of parts. The finished vehicle suits a display case and a gaming board alike.
The BA-27 entered service in 1928 as the first armored car of Soviet industry to go into production. The armored hull stood on the chassis of the AMO F-15 truck and the turret was taken over from the light tank MS-1: it carried a cannon of 37 mm caliber completed with a DT machine gun of 7.62 mm. Two hundred and fifteen examples came into being, and the later form BA-27M received a three-axle Ford-Timken chassis. The vehicles took part in the fighting in the Far East in 1929, served against insurgents in Central Asia and individual examples lived to see the summer of 1941.
First wash the castings in lukewarm water with a drop of degreaser, or residues of mold release agent will prevent the paint from adhering. Separate the casting blocks with a saw or a cutter, level the surfaces with a file and protect your airways while sanding. Join the parts with cyanoacrylate glue, as ordinary plastic cement has no effect on this material. Apply a primer before painting; a miniature in 1:100 scale stands out with accentuated shadows and a fine dusty cast around the chassis.
It is supplied unassembled and unpainted, without paints and glue.
