A small injection-molded plastic kit from Zvezda that captures the BTR-80 wheeled armored personnel carrier in 1:100 scale. It belongs to the Art of Tactic series: a snap-fit kit is assembled by clicking the parts together without glue and suits beginners as well as players of tabletop war games.
The BTR-80 is an eight-wheeled armored personnel carrier developed in the Soviet Union. It carries a section of infantry, is amphibious and holds a heavy machine gun and a coaxial machine gun in a rotating turret. It spread to a number of armies all over the world.
The parts can be put together without glue, but a drop of cement for plastic will make the joint firmer. Spray on primer and a base green color, and bring out the details with a wash. At a small scale work with thin coats of paint, so that the fine details are not flooded.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
