A plastic kit of the Soviet KV-1 heavy tank with the F-32 gun in 1:100 scale from Zvezda. The models in this range are designed to be easy, with the parts laid out to snap together without glue. The quick build and the small format make the model a practical choice for tabletop games and for a collection.
The KV-1 was a Soviet heavy tank of the early Second World War, named after Kliment Voroshilov. The early versions carried the 76 mm F-32 gun and stood out for their thick armor, which in 1941 was hard to penetrate. The tank became one of the symbols of Soviet armored strength in the opening phase of the war.
The small scale allows a quick build, and the joints can be secured with a drop of cement for plastic. A primer, a basic coat and detail work with a wash and a dry brush all pay off. Dust and mud pigments will bring the running gear and the lower areas to life.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
