A small plastic kit of the American M3 Scout Car armored scout car in 1:100 scale from Zvezda. It is an undemanding model with a small number of parts from the range devoted to Second World War vehicles - it builds quickly and, thanks to the shared scale, it suits a collection as well as the gaming table for wargames and dioramas.
The White M3 Scout Car was a light wheeled armored car developed in the United States in the 1930s. The open body took the crew and a scout squad, and the armament usually consisted of machine guns on a skate rail running round the body. During the Second World War it served for reconnaissance, liaison and escorting columns; besides the US Army it was also used in large numbers by the Allies, among them the Soviet Union and Great Britain under Allied supply programs.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and clean up the edges; in a small scale the cleanness of the detail is what counts. The model can be assembled very quickly; for permanent joints we recommend a drop of glue. Olive green forms the base, brought to life by a lighter dry brush on the edges, a fine wash in the recesses and dust tones on the chassis. Figures and small cargo items from other 1:100 sets will round the model out nicely.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
