A plastic snap-fit kit of the Soviet ZSU-23-4 Shilka self-propelled anti-aircraft system in 1:100 scale from Zvezda. The model goes together without glue and is part of the Art of Tactic tabletop game system. The package holds an unassembled model of the vehicle and a game card with a unit flag. Its compact dimensions make it a useful element of modern formations.
The Shilka is a Soviet self-propelled anti-aircraft system on a tracked chassis, armed with a quadruple 23 mm cannon with radar guidance. It serves to destroy low-flying air targets and from the 1960s became one of the most widespread systems of its kind, committed in many armies and conflicts.
Separate the parts carefully and join them, strengthening them with cement for plastic if you wish. Lay the base on with an airbrush, typically in green shades; the cannon barrels and the fine detail of the turret will stand out after a wash into the recesses and dry-brushing on the edges. Dust pigments on the running gear will underline the wear of service.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
