LACI 1:144 Douglas DC-9-30 - landing configuration is a resin set that replaces the corresponding parts of the wing of a plastic kit and makes it possible to build a model as the aircraft looks on approach. It is an accessory to a model, not a kit of an airplane.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin accessory set in 1:144 scale from LACI. It is aimed at the landing configuration of the Douglas DC-9-30, that is at the wing with the high-lift devices extended. It is not a kit of an airplane - the parts replace the corresponding sections of a plastic model you already have under way. Compared with plain flap sets this is a more extensive conversion, so count on a longer job.
The DC-9-30 is the most widespread form of the twin-engine short-haul Douglas airliner with the engines placed at the rear of the fuselage and a T-tail. Compared with the shorter first series it received a longer wing supplemented by leading-edge devices, thanks to which it kept good take-off and landing qualities even from short runways. It is therefore precisely on this one that it pays to build a model in the configuration with all the devices out - at the cruise setting the wing looks smooth and part of the character of the real subject is lost.
This is an accessory to a kit, not a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
