The helmet of Vietnamese units in 1:72 scale is a small accessory for figures and dioramas from the Vietnam War period, not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A small accessory for figures in 1:72 scale, meant for scenes from the Vietnam War. You use it when converting a figure, when bringing the equipment of a whole group into line, or as an object of its own in a scene. It is not a kit and a figure is not included in the package. The manufacturer makes the pattern in other scales as well, so one and the same subject can be used across several projects in progress; what decides is the scale given in the name.
On figures from a Vietnamese setting, headgear is one of the few features by which the sides can be told apart at first glance. While American figures wear a steel helmet with a cover, the opponent is associated in modeling practice with light headgear of tropical cut, filled out with a cloth cover or with camouflage made of vegetation. Before buying, compare the shape of the part with the figure you want to use it on.
Separate the part from the casting block with a sharp scalpel, clean up the parting line and wash it in warm water with detergent before painting. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue, which you apply in a minimal amount with a toothpick. For painting, reach for matte green and olive shades; at this scale a base coat, a darker wash and only very fine drybrushing work well. Avoid a thick coat of varnish, which would round the small shape off.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and without a figure. Paints, glue and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
